7.25" x 5.25". Albumen photograph of several American Indians playing cards on the prairie, accompanied by their horses and with numerous wagons and livestock in the background. Obverse marked with studio mark of William E. Irwin, Chickasha, Indian Territory. Reverse shows markings in pencil "Wichita Indians/Playing [?]/at the [?]/Ranch Minco /I.T." Minco, Oklahoma was a stop on the Chisholm Trail and was initially populated by Caddo, Wichita, Kiowa, and Comanche. **Fair condition. Bottom right corner has separated and has been previously been reattached with tape. Some wear to corners and edges with some apparent moisture staining. Some scattered foxing.** $100-$300
