From Kapriver, a FIVE (5) DAY/SIX (6) NIGHT FALL (Aug 15-Oct 1, 2019 or 20) OR SPRING (May 15 – June 15 2020) BLACK BEAR HUNT for ONE (1) HUNTER (FIVE Actual Hunting Days) . This 2x1 hunt will take place in one of three bear management areas in Kapuskasing, Ontario, covering a total of 3000 sq. km by rifle, muzzleloader or bow. The hunt will take place over bait or spot and stalk with bow or rifle. The Kapuskasing area is famous for its huge bears - a bruising 714-pound bear was taken by a woman with a bow. Take your chance and wait for a unique color phase bear (cinnamon) to appear if you wish. This hunt can be taken in 2019 or 2020 (May 15 - Jun 15 and Aug 15 - Sep 10). Additional hunters are encouraged and cost $2000.00, non-hunters are also welcome for $1000.00 and days added for $400 each. You may also upgrade for waterfowl (duck and geese) and grouse shooting for $500/shooter. Included: five (5) days guiding for one (1) hunter, trophy fee for one (1) bear, 5-bedroom lodge accommodations (comfortable beds, heated, full kitchen facilities to cook your own meals with food you purchase from grocery stores nearby (or take advantage of the numerous local restaurants). Not included: airfare, transfers, upgrades, food and drink, transportation during the hunt (client must provide their own vehicle to and from hunting area), field and trophy prep, transportation to shipper, taxidermy, weapons permit ($25.00), bear tag ($250.00), tips and gratuities.
