Carcano 1918 M91 Full Wood Italian Bolt Action Military Rifle..

Carcano is the frequently used name for a series of Italian bolt-action, internal
magazine fed, repeating military rifles and carbines.
Introduced in 1891, the rifle was chambered for the rimless 6.5×52mm Carcano
round (Cartuccia Modello 1895). It was developed by the chief technician Salvatore
Carcano at the Turin Army Arsenal in 1890, and was originally called the Modello
(model) 91 or simply M91..

This unit is a real nice example of the early Carcano. Roma built with matched
numbers throughout..

Strong cartouches on stock and wood is great considering age. Bore is great
condition with strong rifling. This gun is full size with barrel measuring 30" long.

Chambered in the usual 6.5 Carcano ammo..

PLEASE CHECK OUT THE BAYONET FOR THIS GUN UNDER LOT # 33 on this AUCTION..
