Cased Colt Col. Sam Colt Sesquicentennial Commemorative Single Action Army Revolver, #3813SC, .45 LC cal., 7-1/2'' barrel is marked on the left side ''1814 - Col. Sam Colt Sesquicentennial Model - 1964''; blued/nickel finish; cylinder with engraved Colt Dome and Rampant Colt logo. Smooth walnut grips with silver Colt medallions; standard sights. In wood display case with fitted maroon velvet lining; lid with a small plaque that reads ''One of 5000/Colonel Sam'l Colt/Sesquicentennial Models/1814-1864''. Interior with a wood cartridge holder, 12 nickel cased inert rounds, Sam Colt medallion, and copy of R.L. Wilson's book ''The Arms Collection of Colonel Colt'', commemorative instruction brochure, and other misc. factory paperwork. Condition is fine overall, retaining approx. 99%+ factory blue; cylinder with a moderate index line. The nickel-plated surfaces are tarnished and the overall appearance would improve with a light cleaning. There are intermittent minor handling marks present on the grips; left grip with a round smudge to the finish, below the Colt medallion. Bore is bright and rates in excellent condition; appears unfired. Case interior is excellent; exterior with light scuffs and scratches. The medallion with spots of darkening along the edge; book dustcover shows wear and tattering to the edges, the book itself is excellent. One of only 1,000 produced. Est.: $900-$1,400.
