Cased Colt Texas Ranger Commemorative Single Action Army Revolver, #250TR, .45 LC cal., 7-1/2'' blued barrel is marked on the left side ''TEXAS RANGER COMMEMORATIVE'' and ''One Riot.One Ranger''; blued cylinder; blued back strap is engraved ''Texas Rangers'', with Texas star medallion. Color case hardened frame with standard maker's marks; nickel-plated trigger guard. Two-piece wood grips; left grip with Texas Ranger medallion; standard sights. In glass-topped two-drawer wood display case with fitted red velvet interior and small reproduction Texas Rangers badge. The knobs on the case are decorated with the state of Texas seal. Second drawer contains a copy of ''That Special Breed of Men'', by C. Schreiner III, A. Schreiner, R. Berryman, and H.F. Matheny; outside of book is covered in cow hide; book is hand numbered and matches the revolver. Revolver is in excellent overall condition, appearing unfired, retaining approx. 99%+ factory metal finish; with beautiful, rich case colored frame. Blued and nickel-plated surfaces with a few slight handling marks; cylinder with an extremely faint index line between a few of the cylinder stop notches. There are a few tiny indentations present on the grips; there is a small chip present on the back inside edge on the left grip; both are otherwise excellent. Bore is bright. Interior of the case is excellent with a few dark spots inside the recessed part that holds the revolver; book is excellent; exterior of the case with intermittent light scuffs and scratches.
