Consecutive Cased Pair of Colt Fourth Model Derringers, #3780D & 3781D, chambered in .22 short cal., each with a 2.5'' barrel, gold-plated frame, semi-gloss finished two-piece smooth wood grips. In faux leather Colt presentation case with red lining and ''Colt'' logo on the lid. Mfg'd 1959-1963. Derringer #3781D is in very good condition. Approx. 99% of the original finish remains on the barrel. Gold-colored frame with moderate thinning and toning to the finish. Grips with high edgewear and scattered small handling marks. Excellent action and bore. #3780D rates as good and is in the same general condition as the first pistol, the exception being the barrel which has been stripped of its finish leaving it light gray in color; factory lettering is still clear and defined. Case exterior is good with light rub marks and a few small tears to the faux leather cover; interior is very good. Est.: $200-$350. (Both/C&R)
