31.5& #34; etched blade with spear point. In the center of the blade is engraved EL REY DE ESPANA A DON POFINATO DIAZ. The blade has gilt in the Etching and engraving. Fancy deep relief gilt brass guard. Spiral ivory handle wrapped in gilt brass wire. Gilt finish scabbard with silver engraved fittings. Cased in a green leather hard shell case with white satin and purple lining. The sword is in excellent condition.
