Cased Smith & Wesson Model 29-2 Double Action Revolver, #N470873, .44 Mag. cal., 6.5" pinned barrel, blue finish, checkered black rubber Pachmayr Presentation grips, red ramp front sight, white outline adjustable rear sight with square-notched groove, color case hardened target hammer and target trigger. In original wood case with blue flock interior, cleaning rod, screwdriver, bore mop, instruction manual, and other misc. factory paperwork. Mfg'd circa 1977-1978. Revolver is in very good overall condition. Cylinder shows considerable finish loss, mild erosion, and patina. Otherwise, the balance of the metal retains approx. 98% factory blue, showing typical light marks associated with handling and use. Factory lettering is crisp. Case colors are vibrant and most remain. Grips show minimal handling wear. Action is crisp, cycles smoothly, and locks up securely. Bore is bright with excellent rifling. Wood case rates very good, with scattered moderate scuffs and scratches to the exterior; interior shows some wear to the edges of the molded revolver impression. Est.: $800-$1,000. (Modern/PPT)
