Chris Klineburgers Vintage 1933 Colt New Service 44-40
This Colt New Service Revolver in .44-40 was manufactured in 1933, and its finish was restored in the mid-century.

Like many sportsmen of that era, Chris Klineburger chose the New Service for its feel, function, reliability, and power.

Colt's first large-frame revolver with a swing-out cylinder was introduced in 1898. U.S. armed forces adopted it, in the .45 Colt, as the Model 1909 that year. In .45 ACP, it later became the Model 1917.

In these chamberings and .44-40, it armed military units, police forces, and government agents for decades.

Among revolver enthusiasts, the popular New Service is still highly valued.

This one is special because it was Chris's.

This package includes Chris Klineburger's Colt .44-40 New Service Revolver, Chris's holster, and a copy of Chris Klineburger's autobiography Game Masters of the World.
