Cogswell double barrel percussion with a top-mounted spring bayonet marked, “COGSWELL 224 STRAND, LONDON” on the center rib. The pistol is nicely checkered and engraved with attached swivel ramrod. The pistol is 9 ½”in total length with barrels measuring 4 ¼” in .50 caliber smoothbore. The action works and the bayonet springs are weak and it does not snap out and lock tight. The pistol shows light cleaning but is N.R.A. good tovery good. Est.: $350-$700. (Antique).
