Collection of 6 vintage paper shotgun shells. These shells use felt, cork, or paperboard wads to seal gases and cushion the shot, technologies that were eventually replaced by one-piece plastic wads. These shells are primarily identified by their colorful paper hulls and overshot wads used before modern plastic star crimps became standard in the 1960s.
