Colt 16oz flask intended for use with Paterson carbine showing Texas flag, American flag, and liberty cap along with defined cannon, mortar and drum along with crossed Paterson revolvers with flared grips.Believed by collectors to be supplied with 1839 Texas contract carbines but possibly used with dragoons also. This exact flask is pictured in Colt accoutrements by Robin Rapely Ill. #F-17 former Perry Hansencollection. The condition is fine to excellent retaining mostly all of its original lacquer showing minimal aging and light imperfections. 9.5-9.8 on a scale of 1-10 and we know of only 1 other in thisstunning original condition.
