Colt 1849 Pocket Model .31 caliber percussion with 1 line New York Address, 6 shot cylinder, and 5” barrel, S/N 234067. Fair to good condition with gray/brown patina finish. All matching visible numbers. Traces ofcylinder scene. Good markings. Scattered minor pitting and erosion. The grips show traces of varnish with small losses, tacking marks on bottom right grip and 2 cut “battle notches” on bottom right grip. Nipplereplaced and some battering and metal loss around nipples at back of the cylinder. Small gap at the rear of frame. The action is working. An honest well used ’49 with scarce 5” New York six shot configuration. (Antique) Est.: $350-$700
