Ensemble consisting of 1849 Colt pocket model with a 6” barrel, tin type of man and wife, and Civil War discharge of Edward Ulrich from David M. Tate’s company of 95th Ohio volunteers at Louisville. This pocket model remains in good to very good condition with traces of finish with good visible markings. Matching visible numbers and 30%+ light cylinder scene remaining. The grips show 60%-70% varnish and are very good overall with minor wear and natural aging. The action works but no half cock and minor pitting and erosion. Loading lever latch is an old period replacement. 1 line New York address with six shot cylinder. Made in 1863 during the height of the Civil War. This pocket model and effects displayed in case together by old collector and we cannot prove any association other than they are of the same era and it is possible to have descended together.
