Colt 1851 Navy Percussion Revolver, #113200, .36 cal., 7.5" octagon barrel, blue and color case hardened finish, brass straps, large trigger guard, naval cylinder scene, smooth walnut one-piece grip, brass pin front sight, and "V"-notched rear sight located on the hammer. Matching visible numbers. Mfg'd 1861. Revolver is in good overall condition, with traces of original finish on the underside of the barrel and protected areas; balance has toned dark, with scattered pinprick pitting. Cylinder retains approx. 10-15% of the cylinder scene, with fine pitting and firing wear. Safety tabs are all hammered flat, with the original nipples intact. Brass shows moderate toning. Several of the screws are replacement; frame screw is oversized. Grips are good, with light indentations, and a small chip at the base of the right panel. The screw in the butt is an oversize replacement and has been drilled out to fit, removing part of the serial number. Action is loose but holds at half and full-cock. Bore is fair with visible rifling. Est.: $1,000-$1,200. (Antique)
