With associated old reproduction shoulder stock aged to match. The revolver shows a mismatched BBL #106969, cyl. 25337. The left grip carved with crude initials MLN during period of use by former owner presumably. The pistol is an early 4 screw cut for stock frame and retains slight traces of blue mixed in patina on the BBL. There is scattered rust, erosion, and minor pitting on metal surfaces. The action revolves but does not stay on full cock (at this age a common problem). Pistol is N.R.A. good overall and BBL is "set back" or reduced slightly to tighten or marry the frame. The stock is a somewhat crude early reproduction that show amateur hand crafting probably 1940-1950's before Italian reproductions were readily available. A descent "type" example for collector or Civil War re-enactor who cant afford a $10,000 plus for an original stocked 60's army.
