'The Authentic Colt Black Powder Series,' an American made 2nd generation reproduction of the Colt 1861 Navy percussion revolver with a .36 caliber bore (Model F1300). The second generation Colt 1861 Navy was produced circa 1971 to 1973. Revolver features a blued finish, a 7-1/2" round barrel, fixed blade front sight, notched rear sight on hammer nose, color-case hammer with a checkered spur, thin smooth curved trigger, silver plated trigger guard, smooth grip straps, and a smooth hardwood single-piece grip. It sports an unfluted six-round cylinder with a roll stamped battle scene. Serial numbers match on the frame, barrel, trigger guard, and backstrap. The frame, loading lever, and hammer are color-case hardened, and are in excellent condition. The original blued finish retained is approximately 99% with only a few light and small scratches on the barrel. The silver plated trigger guard and backstrap are in excellent condition. Metal displays no rust, or deformation. The action is smooth and crisp with a tight lock-up. The bore is bright with strong rifling, and cylinder chambers are also in excellent condition. This revolver includes the original factory foam lined cardboard box, and paperwork.
Condition is NRA Excellent.
