Colt 1861 Navy with desirable Naval anchor marking on the barrel and inspected by “G.G.” on the cylinder with 1871-72 patent dates and made as a .38 caliber centerfire cartridge arm serial numbered in its ownrange, S/N 7104. Pictured on page 262 of “Colt Conversions” by Bruce McDowell and formerly Sam Pachanian Collection. In near fine original condition showing 60%-80% original blue and case hardening with somenatural aging and patina. Near fine grips with minor imperfections. All matching serial numbers and sharp overall. Some bright case color and blue where protected. A collector’s quality 1861 that is rarely found Navalmarked and inspected by G.G. who was well known for inspecting cuttless. (Antique) Est.: $5,000-$10,000
