Consecutive serial numbered pair of Colt Single Action Army .45 Colt Revolvers SNs: NRA177 & NRA178, attributed as presented to then U.S. Senator, Barry M. Goldwater The Associated Press published a photo at the time showing Senator Goldwater handling a presented similar revolver on April 7th, 1971, as presented to him from the NRA. The NRA Centennial revolvers feature 7.5" barrels, blued finish with color case hardened receivers & loading gates, two piece wood stocks with inlaid gold color coin medallions bearing the NRA Centennial version logo, gold paint inlaid engraving "1871 NRA Centennial 1971" script on left sides of barrel, and special serial number range. Revolvers are in excellent condition, with thin drag lines on cylinders, some minor visible scuffs and small scratches from handling. Includes a glass window display case and some paperwork bearing descriptions of the cased set. Case includes a brass plaque stating the revolvers were a gift from Colt.
