Set of Colt Commemorative 1820-1970 Missouri Sesquicentennial Revolvers, both with display cases. Gun #1: Single Action Army, #P98MOS, .45 LC cal., 5.5'' barrel, blue finish, color case hardened frame; gold-colored cylinder and cylinder pin, hammer, ejector rod housing and trigger; two-piece hardwood grips with gold Colt medallions, marked on left side of barrel ''1820-MISSOURI SESQUICENTENNIAL-1970''. Condition is near excellent overall with slight handling marks to the gold-colored surfaces, strong case colors, crisp and clear factory lettering. Left grip with a few shallow indentations; right grip with an indentation to the lower front corner. Appears unfired, but the cylinder has been turned. Bright bore. One of 900 produced. Gun #2: Frontier Scout, #98MOS, .22 LR cal., 4.75'' barrel, blue finish, black frame, with gold-colored small parts; two-piece wood grips with Colt medallions, and standard sights. Marked on left side of barrel ''1820-MISSOURI SESQUICENTENNIAL-1970''. Condition is excellent, appearing unfired, with single tiny indentation to left side of barrel above commemorative markings. Right grip with a moderate indentation above the Colt medallion, otherwise grips show only light handling marks. Mirror bright bore. Each gun includes a wood display case with plexi-glass front and top marked with the Seal of Missouri and other commemorative markings. One of 3,000 produced. Est.: $1,500-$2,000/set.
