Nickel refinished WWI era single action semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 Auto, manufactured in Hartford, CT. Features a 5" barrel, low-profile round blade front sight, dovetailed rear sight with ‘u’ notch, smooth ‘long’ trigger, knurled wide hammer spur, knurled manual safety on the left side of the frame, grip safety, push button magazine release, 7 round magazine, smooth mainspring housing with lanyard loop and pearl-like grips. Markings: Slide - "PATENTED APR.20,1897. SEPT.9,1902/DEC.19,1905. FEB.14,1911. AUG.19,1913”, “COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO./HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A.." Comes with two magazines, one with Colt markings and one with a lanyard loop, wood display case with green cloth lining and a letter of provenance from Colt Industries dated October 1, 1981. Pistol retains approximately 90% of its nickel-plated refinish showing scattered scratches. Chip missing from right grip near top screw. The top screw protrudes slightly. Action is sound, the bore is dull but might improve with cleaning, markings are good. NRA Good as refinished. **C&R Firearm**
