Colt Model 1878 DA revolver, .476 caliber (largest caliber made by Colt for a revolver at the time), 5.5” barrel with Pall Mall, London address, blued finish, British proofed, checkered wood grips, S/N 18603, inoverall very good condition with considerable original blue on the frame, some areas of original blue on the protected areas of the ejector housing and cylinder flutes, remaining metal surfaces gone to a pleasingbrown patina; very good bore, action and markings; grips are worn and show an old repair to a vertical crack on the left grip thru the retaining screw. Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed.
