Colt Model 1878 exposed hammer SxS shotgun in 12GA with 30” barrels in excellent original condition, S/N 1586. A strong 9.5 on a 1-10 scale showing nearly all the original tobacco brown finish with bright case hardening. The stocks are also near excellent with just minor handling and storage marks. 70%-80% original blue on steel butt plate. The lever shows 90%-95% original bright blue. The action is crisp and locks up tight. The bores are bright with no problems. Unlikely to improve upon this high condition Colt. (Antique) Est.: $3000-$6000
