Colt Model 1902 Philippine Constabulary Army Revolver, #47089, .45 Colt CF cal., 6" round barrel with maker's name and address in one line on top, "45 Colt" at left; fluted round cylinder is marked "8215" and "R.A.C." (sub-inspector Rinaldo A. Carr) at rear face; solid frame is marked "U.S." at right, "R.A.C." at left "hump," has right-side hinged loading gate, separate large-loop trigger guard marked "R.A.C." at left-front web, integral "bird's head" gripstraps with lanyard loop at butt and 2-pc. checkered hard rubber grips having the oval "Rampant Colt" logo at top. Mfg'd early 1900s. Condition is very good retaining good traces of thinning original blue in protected areas (80% in cylinder flutes) with sharp edges and markings and subdued case colors. Grips show moderate wear and a 1" chip out at left backstrap. Action is crisp, bore is bright with light frosting and sharp rifling. Est.: $800-$1,100. (C&R)
