U.S. Military Issued sidearm. WWI era pistol manufactured 1918. Eagle head "S5" inspectors mark above magazine release. Right Slide stamped "Model of 1911. U.S. Army" Colt's Patent's and Address in two lines on left slide with "Rampant Colt". "United States property" on left frame. "H" stamped on the rear of the slide above the firing pin stop plate. Barrel stamped ".45 Auto 7791193" (Replacement) left triggerguard stamped "23"Smooth, flat mainspring housing. (Replacement) Grip safety. Lanyard ring. Blued finish. Brown checkered wood "Diamond" grips. Bore appears very good/bright. Grips are very good with some minor wear. Action is crisp/tight. Blued finish is about 65% with edge wear/minor scratches, handling wear mostly on top of the slide, and fore strap. There is spots of light rust/pitting by the ejection port. Comes with one 8-rd unmarked magazine, and a period US flap holster marked "P.C. Co , J.D.". NRA Condition-Good. C&R Firearm.
