* Colt Python Target Model revolver, .38 Special caliber, serial #A2206. A seldom seen Python with nickel finish, 8” ventilated rib barrel, adjustable rear sight and type three checkered walnut grips with gold Rampant Colt medallions. Please note that the sights are blued. The pistol is in overall excellent condition showing little if any use and only handling marks. The bore is excellent, action crisp and markings are sharp. According to Gurney Brown’s book, “Seven Serpents, The History of Colt’s Snake Guns” this is one of the rarer production Pythons with only 251 being manufactured in nickel finish. A truly rare piece. Est.: $3,000-$6,000.
