SN: SA05038.Limited edition of 50, 24 karat gold plated finish with silver nickel inlays. These revolvers were originally acquired by John Bianchi’s Frontier Museum, and subsequently were acquired by the Autry Museum of Western Heritage in 1985. The revolvers were never displayed at the Autry Museum, but were kept in storage until they were acquired by a firearms dealer. The revolver features a 7 1/2" barrel and the unique .44 Special caliber. The Tribute is a handsomely decorated Colt Single Action Army Revolver, with artwork honoring six of the most revered and respected Indian leaders in American history featured on the cylinder – Sitting Bull, Gall, Geronimo, Stand Watie, Red Cloud, and Chief Joseph. The barrel is decorated with Indian motifs along with the name of the Tribute. The backstrap features Indian motifs and the individual edition number inside the outline of an arrowhead. (25 of 50) The recoil shield features the head of a majestic buffalo, Revolver is in like new condition.
