Colt Single Action Army, .44-40, 4 ¾” etched panel barrel, Nickel finish, wood grips, S/N 80696. This revolver remains in good to very good condition showing considerable nickel finish remaining along with scattered areasof pinprick pitting. The barrel has been reduced and the sight was reconfigured but was done very well probably by a gunsmith during the period of use. The grips remain in good condition showing a loss of wood at the toe along with dings, scratches and loss of varnish but fit the gun well. The action is crisp and the bore is fair.
