'Missouri Sesquicentennial' commemorative single action six-shot revolver manufactured circa 1970. Features blued / case color finish, gold color accents on cylinder & ejector rod assembly, 5.5” barrel, blade front sight, square notched rear sight, fluted cylinder, ejector rod, smooth thin trigger, hammer with knurled spur, two piece pearl grips with nickel plated Colt medallions. Left side of barrel marked "1820 MISSOURI SESQUICENTENNIAL 1970". Bore and charge holes are very good condition. Retains 80% finish on blued parts with holster wear, finish loss on triggerguard, patina on backstrap. Case color frame is good overall with fading to recoil shield area showing a silver color. Gold plated surfaces are fair condition showing much finish loss, much silver coloration, with most retained gold color in cylinder flutes. Grips are very good condition with fair fit to grip straps. Colt medallions show brass & copper color. Action is smooth with good lock-up. Includes wood & plexiglass display case with red velvet lining, inset "Missouri Gateway to the West" brass coin, "Show Me" and Colt emblem & logo in white on top plexiglass lid, front plexiglass panel missing.
