'2nd Series Target Model,' an American made semi-automatic rimfire pistol chambered for .22 Long Rifle, manufactured between 1950 and 1955 in Hartford, CT. Pistol features a blued finish, a 6" tapered barrel, serrated ramp and pinned blade front sight, micrometer adjustable 'Colt Master' square notched rear sight, serrated curved trigger, frame mounted serrated push-button magazine release, serrated frame mounted manual safety, serrated frame mounted slide stop/hold open, smooth grip straps, lanyard loop at the heel of the grip, and two-piece checkered injection molded target grips with the rampant colt logo on the right grip panel. The original blued finish retained is approximately 88% with light handling blemishes, some general thinning, and edge wear. The blued finish is showing patina with the finish turning a mottled grey color. Metal displays rust along the bottom of the barrel towards the muzzle, but no deformation. The bore is bright with strong rifling, and the grips are very good with a few very small chips around the bottom edge of the panels. The action is smooth and crisp. Pistol includes a black nylon holster, and one magazine total.
Condition is NRA Good.
