Custom FIE side by side shotgun modified by legendary Hot Rod artist Von Dutch, 12 gauge, Serial #2417. The shotgun is in fine overall condition with 18 ½” barrels with a full-length filed rib. The shotgun has beencustomized with a smooth wood pistol grip and brass plate added to the right side of the receiver marked, “Von Dutch”. According to the consignor, the shotgun was custom built by Von Dutch and gifted to his good friendEarl Bruce. The lot includes a signed letter to this effect along with a significant amount of historical documentation on Von Dutch, his art, work on cars, knives and custom fire arms. The bores are good, theaction works well and the markings are legible on this piece customized by the iconic Hot Rodder, Von Dutch. Est.: $600-$1,200. (Modern).
