Custom Mauser sporting rifle, .30 caliber, Serial #2M-8812. The rifle is in fine overall condition with a 24” barrel. The rifle retains approximately 95-96% of the blue finish with light scratches and smallmars from carry and use. The bolt has been jeweled and the handle has been bent to accommodate scope mounting. The floor plate is engraved, ROBERT LEE LARKIN MBA AUG 1969”. The custom Walnut stock is finely checkered with high relief carved oak leaf embellishment. The butt stock has a roll over cheek piece with a ventilated rubber butt pad providing a 13 ¾” LOP. The rifle is topped with a Bushnell Banner 3 x 9 variable power scope. The lot includes sling swivels and a tooled leather sling. Est.: $400-$800. (Modern).
