DE WET AFRICAN SAFARIS: 6-Day Nile Crocodile Hunt for Two Hunter and Two Observers in South Africa
Join De Wet African Safaris on a 7-night/6-hunting day safari for two hunters and two observers in pursuit of some of South Africa's most iconic species.
The hunt is for two crocodiles (one crocodile per hunter) up to 11 feet (can be upgraded to a larger crocodile.) The hunt will take place on our private concession 2.5 hours north of Johannesburg.
Included in the hunt is the trophy fee and permit fee for two crocodiles, accommodation at our 5-star lodge with spacious bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms, three meals per day, all drinks and liquor, 4x4 hunting vehicles, licensed professional hunter (2x1), tracker, camp staff, daily laundry service, skinners and field preparation of trophies.
Additional hunters are welcome at $380/person/day and observers for $180/person/day. The hunt may be upgraded to take additional species from the current price list.
Hunting can be done by rifle or bow and can be taken from April 1 to October 31 of 2024 or 2025.
Not included in this hunt are airport transfers at $450 per vehicle round trip, accommodation prior to and after safari, airfare to country of safari, trophy fees on animals wounded and lost, taxidermy work and shipping of trophies to final destination, rifle hire and ammunition at $50 per day, gratuities for staff, CITES fees for crocodile $200, additional trips, medical expenses (please have own medical insurance) and the 3% service fee that will be added to any Visa or Mastercard payments.
Please note that this hunt CANNOT be combined with another hunt (from the same outfitter or another outfit) prior to or after this hunt.
No exchange of animals will be possible or exchanged for credit.
No refund on donated animals not taken (100% success rate on all animals.)

AUCTION RULES, TERMS & CONDITIONS
The following rules apply to all bidders participating in online bidding and must be followed unequivocally. All decisions of the auctioneer will be final. The auctioneer and HSCF staff will render decisions on any disputes regarding the bids during the auction.
HSCF supports and promotes hunts and trips from donors who are members in good standing with their local and national hunting associations.
Some items, as components of donated hunts, may or may not be included unless specified. This may pertain to travel expenses to and from destination; hotel and meals before and after the hunt; alcoholic beverages; trophy dipping, packaging and shipping; gratuities and other items. Please review the details for each auction item.
Most hunt donations have specified dates for which they may be taken. Special arrangements other than as set forth in the auction descriptions are expressly between the donor and the auction winner.
Some non-hunt donations may require delivery and installation at your expense.
The winner’s credit card on file will be charged the full amount for each winning bid. At the conclusion of the auction, the winner will receive an email acknowledgment and a paid invoice once payment has been processed.
In the event the winner's card is declined, HSCF will make one (1) attempt to contact the winner to obtain a new form of payment. If the bidder cannot be reached, HSCF may, in its sole and absolute discretion, may offer the item for resale.
HSCF online auction winners will be assessed a Buyer's Premium (5% or $250, whichever is less) on the total winning bid amount for each online purchase. The Buyer’s Premium will be included in the total charged for each item.
Online bidders agree to not interfere or disrupt the standard working function of any aspect of the online auction, via any device, software or other means.
If an active bidder is not satisfied with an aspect of the online auction, the bidder's only recourse is to discontinue use of the online auction system prior to the conclusion of bidding or the purchase of an item.
HSCF reserves the right, for any reason, in its sole discretion, to terminate, change or suspend any aspect of the online auction and/or to void any sale, temporarily suspend bidding, and offer any goods affected by any malfunction for resale.
All disputes regarding HSCF auction items purchased during this auction shall be submitted in writing to HSCF. All disputes and/or requests for refunds must detail and demonstrate proof of dispute. HSCF, at its sole discretion, may or may not approve a requested refund, based on the evidence and information provided. Credits or refunds will not be given, for any reason that is beyond the control of HSCF, if the auction winner is unable to utilize the purchased item with the time frame described in the auction description. Credits will not be provided by HSCF for any item for which the donor and buyer alter or vary the terms set forth for the item in the auction description as provided during this auction.
For any approved credits or refunds, which will be made at the sole discretion of HSCF and are final, the credit or refund will not exceed the amount allocated to HSCF for the specific item, in the case of items for proceeds are to be shared with any third party.
