Your adventure begins upon arriving at the Christchurch, New Zealand Airport. Hunting Bull Tahr on the South Island of New Zealand, you will roam amongst the most spectacular scenery in the world. Your guide on this 5-day rifle hunt for 1 hunter and one non-hunter is Long Time Supporter John McInnes who owns Deerbrooke Safaris and specializes in totally free-range hunts with over 36 years of hunting experience.
This hunt will take place on private property in the Southern Alps. Deerbrooke Lodge has luxury accommodations with on-suite rooms and wireless internet. All transportation, food, accommodations, trophy fee for one bull tahr, and field dressing of skins or capes are included. The winner of this donation is required to either upgrade to an additional trophy (the minimal trophy fee for a ram is $1,050) or bring a second hunter per the price list. Non-hunters are welcome too per the price list.
Deerbrooke also offers Red Stag, Chamois and Fallow Buck. Schedule this hunt with the outfitter in 2022 or 2023. Several Chapter members have had memorable hunting experiences with John.
