X Grade engraving consists of deep relief oak leaves, stippled backgrounds & single line borders surrounding "Ansley H Fox" marked vignettes. Vignettes feature 2 flying prairie chickens on right, 2 flying ducks on left w/ fox on the bottom. Engraving extends to trigger guard, top lever & breech ends of bbls. Selective ejectors. Dbl. triggers. Ebony tipped splinter forearm & rnd. knob stock of fancy thin shell walnut. Forearm & stock have segmented hand checkering that extends to stock ears. LOP: 14 1/8" over aftermarket solid brown Old English pad. DAC: 1 5/8". DAH: 2 1/2". Stock has slight cast off. WEIGHT: 7 lbs. Bore diameter: R - .720, L - .721. Choke constriction: R - .030, L - .005. Minimum wall thickness: R - .029, L - .029. Philadelphia 1916 mfg. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: gold nylon covered luggage case w/ leather trim having purple velour fitted interior. CONDITION: bbls. retain 90% blue showing light wear on edges of the rib w/ a few light handling marks. Action has nicely visible case colors on protected areas of sides, top tang & floorplate areas blending w/ a pleasing silvery aged appearance. Wood is lightly refinished retaining crisp checkering.
