GERMAN. 1) Late manufacturer Type 30 bayonet w/ 15 5/8" non fullered blued blade. Right ricasso has "Toyada Jidoshoki Seisakusho" (Toyada automatic loom works, Ltd.) marking. Straight cross guard. Plain hardwood grips fastened by two rivets. square pommel marked at end w/ S#. Late type wood scabbard w/ 2 cord wrappings having metal throat & tip. CONDITION: metal parts are blue w/ light wear & light oxidation. Blade has been sharpened. Grips have light wear & notable crack on right grip. Lightly worn wooden scabbard has 60% green painted finish. Scabbard has approx. 2" crack on right side. Wrappings are tight. 2) 15 1/2" fullered blade Type 30 Japanese bayonet. Bayonet is marked on right ricasso w/ the interlocking circles of "TOKYO ARSENAL". Cross guard w/ curved quillon. Smooth hardwood grips fastened by 2 screws. S# at end of pommel. Blued steel scabbard. CONDITION: bright blade has been sharpened turning gray w/ wear & peppery oxidation. Balance of metal has worn, patina finish. Grips have moderate wear & handling marks throughout. Blued scabbard has sm. dents turning gray & patina. Screw is not present on left side of scabbard. 3) 9 3/4" fullered blade German Model 98k bayonet w/ steel scabbard & leather frog. Blued blade is marked on left Ricasso w/ "44 fnj" indicating manufacture by Alexander Coppel Gmbh, 1941/44. Marked on right ricasso "n" series S#. Left side of pommel has eagle acceptance mark. Flash guard is present. Grooved reddish composite grips. CONDITION: blade has light wear retaining 70% of its original blue finish. Balance of metal turning gray & patina. Grips have moderate wear throughout. Steel scabbard is turning gray & patina. Leather frog has missing rivet & moderate amount of loose stitching w/ wear & scuffing throughout.
