Cal. 16 Ga. 2 3/4" / 7x57 R. S# 470151. The 23 3/4" bbls. are fitted w/ claw scope bases, popup U-notch rear & red plastic front sights in full length matted rib. Behind front scope base is partially marked “FORTUNA-SUHL”. Cal. is toward rear. Bottoms of bbls. are stamped w/ February 1961 East German Nitro proofs for 16 Ga. 2 3/4" & 7x57 R. Case hardened scallop backed blitz action features rifle selector on top tang, side safety, pin cocking indicators, crossbolt 3rd fastener, side clips, reinforced actions & dbl. triggers (front set). Action is engraved w/ sprays of scroll within line borders. Suhl blacksmith logo is on trigger plate. Trigger guard is steel. Lightly figured European walnut capped pistol grip buttstock measures 15" over “Whiteline” pad & features point pattern checkering & sling loop. Matching splinter forend has Deeley. Drilling is fitted w/ Zeiss Diatal-Z 6x rail scope w/ crosshair & 3 post reticle in claw mounts, rear w/ windage (scope does have internal windage adj.). MEASUREMENTS: BBLS: Bore Diameter: R .666", L .666". Restriction: R .018" (MOD), L .029" (FULL). Min. Wall Thickness: R .036", L .038". STOCK: DAH: 2 5/8". DAC: 1 1/2". LOP: 15". CAST: neutral. WEIGHT WITHOUT SCOPE: 7 lb. 10 oz. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: black plastic case. CONDITION: good w/ alterations. Bbls. retain about 70% original blue are possibly reblued at time of installation of newer scope bases. Action retains traces of original case hardening color where protected, but is mostly silver to gray. Stocks w/ old oil refinish. Buttstock has full length top of comb replaced & poorly matched. Checkering is heavily worn. Shotgun bores are bright & shiny. Rifle bore is also bright & shiny w/ sharp rifling throughout. Action is tight. Mechanically good except front trigger will not set, screw missing. Scope is very fine w/ a few marks in outer exterior lacquer. Optically clear. (22-5068/MGM). CURIO. $1,000-1,500.
