Cal. 16 Ga. / 8x57JR. (318 bore). S# 16771. Bbl. 23 3/4", engraved “J. J. Reeb, Hobeuchsenmacher, Bonn” in milled out portion of full length matted rib fitted w/ pop up rear sight & claw bases. Bbl. flats stamped w/ “JUNE 19 1933”. German nitro proofs for 16 Ga. & 8x57. Left side chamber area rifle bbl. stamped “REBO 1978”. Light weight alloy dbl. arch backed blitz top lever action features rifle selector on top tang, side safety, pin cocking indicators, bushed strikers, cross bolt 3rd fastener, side clips & dbl. triggers (front set). Action engraved w/ about 30% scroll w/ in line & sm. scroll borders. Steel trigger guard w/ scroll on bow has S# on tang. Lightly streaked European walnut rnd. knob pistol grip buttstock measures 14 1/8" over ribbed horn buttplate & features shadow line right hand cheekpiece, well shaped side panels, grip checkering & sling loop matching that on bbls. Matching slightly schnabeled forend has Deeley release. MEASUREMENTS: bore Diameter: left .667, right .667. Bore Restrictions: left .025 Mod., right .035 Full. Wall Thickness: left .030, right .030. DAC: 1 5/8". DAH: 2 3/4". WEIGHT: 6 lbs. 5 oz. CONDITION: fair to good. Bbls. w/ about 40% what may be original blue. Lacquer on action is considerably faded & appearance is mostly silver to brown. Stocks w/ oil refinish over many light & heavy marks; shows spreading & repairs at breech end of buttstock. Checkering worn. Bores are fine, bright & shiny. Sharp rifling.
