The 1906 Swiss Police Luger was manufactured by Deutsche Waffen und Munitions Fabriken (DWM) of Berlin and was part of the Swiss military contract for the Model 1906. Spanned serial numbers 5001 through 15215. Pistols in the 7000–8000 range were manufactured and delivered approximately between 1907 and 1908. The top of the chamber is marked with the Swiss Cross in a Shield and the rear toggle bears the DWM monogram. Barrel, front toggle link, side & rear of receiver are stamped with a Swiss small cross. Receiver bears the control proof mark consisting of a small Swiss cross over a “V”, control proof of Herr Vogelsang. “P” marking with year "27" on frame indicating the privatization of this model when it was released from the military. Features the new type toggle, with flat, checkered toggle knobs, grip safety, wide trigger, trigger guard and barrel chambered in 7.65mm Luger. Original wood walnut checkered grips with left grip slotted for grip safety. Original nickel-plate magazine with wood base. Original stamped steel muzzle cover marked "Depose". Original Leather holster with shoulder strap, rear marked "FR Frick Bern" & "23", inside of flap stamped with Swiss cross & "Sch". The bore is excellent/bright with strong rifling, the original blued finish is about 97% with slight edge/muzzle wear, the straw on the controls are very good, mostly all there and the grips are very good/sound.
