Cal. 9mm Luger. S# 9789b. Bbl. 8" w/ 772 receiver matching numbered sights having fine tune adj. feature. Chamber dated 1914 w/ bbl. receiver assembly matching numbered w/ 772 & 72; 1914 military frame that could have been produced in any year from 1913-1918 w/ all parts matching frame w/ 89 including grips. Strawed sm. parts throughout & proper period markings. MAGS: 2 blued 8 rd. w/ wood bases; 1 very good w/ light wear having unmarked base having chip on right dimple & fair, refinished over pitting having damaged base w/ chip also has nail repair plus extra retaining pin numbered 6327 perpendicular to dimples. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: very good stock & holster set plus harness w/ dbl. mag. pouch. Mag. pouch missing front retaining strap. Holster hinge area cracked at each end; strap for flap in similar condition. Cleaning rod cover missing 1 disk. Areas of white residue that appears to be from saddle soap or similar product as most areas wiped off easily. Brass rod w/ blunt end suitable for pushing patch through bore plus cylindrical stainless looking handle having knurled ends. Good unmarked loading tool. Good board stock numbered "2682" w/ unreadable suffix. Cleaned light pitting on metal & appearance of old varnish refinish. Very good end cap w/ broken strap at stud latch position. Leather top over holster flap & retaining band at bottom appear to be newer than balance of rig yet aged repair. Especially good fit of iron to pistol. CONDITION: very good appearance w/ very minimal high point finish loss. Receiver assembly finish appears original w/ crisp markings & very good strawed ejector. Frame finish slightly lesser condition w/ peppery oxidation in grip area & slight stained appearance to strawed parts; mag. release about near excellent. Frame appears to have top quality arsenal refinish retaining well defined demarcation of trigger guard to front strap. Typical light high point wear on front of frame rails & high points of sideplate. All appropriate internal areas in the white. Bright near excellent bore. Great looking rig w/ mismatched top & bottom. (22-347/NW). CURIO. $1,500-2,500.
