PISTOL. Cal. 30 Luger. S# 67. Bbl. 300mm (11 3/4"). Mfg. for commercial sales utilizing Navy Luger components. Front sight dovetailed bead on integral serrated ramp. Rear sight 100-200 Navy style on rear toggle rather than usual carbine sight on rear of bbl. No visible proof marks but Crown N & 67 on bottom rear of bbl. Interior of checkered walnut forend w/ schnabel that slides over frame extension has "GERMANY" export mark & 67; retained by screw swivel rather than wedge. Forend does not have recoil actuator mechanism. Items w/ 67 are forend hanger, forend, breech block, rear toggle, take down lever & trigger. Extractor marked "LOADED" w/ #91. Safety is in lower position w/ "GESICHERT" in upper position. Fire blued small parts including forend swivel (standard bluing on buttstock) & grip screws. Strawed frame sm. parts plus appropriate in the white interior areas. Standard rear toggle pivot is not large head Naval style. Sporting checkered walnut buttstock w/ grooved buttplate not having widows peak. Two screw attached iron w/ strawed latch lever; no marks or numbers. MAGS: 1 fair to good tin plated 8 rd. w/ wood base numbered 1388, Crown M proof & concentric circles in dimples. Flaking finish & cleaned oxidation. CONDITION: about near excellent overall appearance plus near excellent bore. Frame is slightly proud of grips plus right has wood added to back to better fit upper left frame recess w/ purpose to eliminate looseness that would otherwise occur at top of grip / frame juncture. Very nice carbine w/ longest possible sight radius. (22-359/NW). CURIO. $4,000-6,000.
