DWM MODEL 1893 BORCHARDT SEMI-AUTO PISTOL WITH

STOCK. Cal. 7.65 Borchardt. S# 1576. Bbl. 190mm (7 1/2") w/ integral inverted V blade sight plus corresponding fixed rear notched sight. Per Sturgess Vol. I of "Borchardt & Luger Automatic Pistols" page 126 Table 3/I all correct features for DWM mfg. Serial number 110x-2xxx. Many minor nuances pointed out in table & related chapter on model C93. Appropriate unmarked chamber, DRP patent number on front toggle & DWM info on right side of receiver. Full matching number (visible w/out disassembly) on both toggles, trigger, bbl., stock lug & bottom rear of butt. Border checkered grips, retained by single screw of Luger style, are not numbered. All little details correct for model including unslotted sear. Strawed trigger; extractor w/ strawed color not done by heat. Appropriate crown B & crown U proofs w/ additional crown G on bbl. MAGS: 1 very good refinished 8 rd. w/ "PATENT' on lower portion of left recess. Refinished wood base appears matching numbered w/ 157 readable; 6 is questionable. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: DWM appropriately unmarked buttstock nicely refinished w/ wood finish a little too glossy. Very good fit to pistol w/ resistance on tightening wheel likely caused by errant stock finish. CONDITION: very good to excellent appearance as refinished w/ bbl. & receiver proofs somewhat faint as is portion of legend on right of receiver. Very light marks on left grip; both w/ noticeable gloss & finish w/ in checkering. Good bore w/ slight wear, slight darkened appearance & even light pitting throughout. (22-348/NW). CURIO. $7,500-12,500.
