DWM Model 1900 American Eagle Army Test Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol, #6290, .30 Luger cal., slim tapered 4.75'' barrel, reblued finish, straw-colored small parts, dished toggles, checkered walnut grips, saw tooth shaped blade front sight, fixed rear sight with small "V"-notch, and grip safety. Includes one unmarked nickel plated magazine with wood base. Pistol is marked ''DWM'' on the toggle with an ''(American Eagle)'' above the chamber. Safety lever is checkered and the lower position was originally polished. All visible numbers matching, including the back of each grip; takedown lever and thumb safety are not numbered. Includes a modern reproduction U.S. holster. Pistol is in very good overall condition, retaining approx. 90% toning reblued finish. Wear to the sideplate, thinning to left side of the frame and front grip strap accounts for much of the finish loss. Metal shows plum colored toning, especially on the barrel. Small parts retain approx. 60% thinning and toning straw colors. Factory lettering, American Eagle emblem, and numbering are clear. Grips have not been refinished, showing age and smoothing of checkering. Action and hold open function well; although the main spring feels just a little weak. Bore with light pitting throughout and moderate frosting in the grooves; rifling is good. Magazine shows moderate wear. Reproduction holster appears like new. Est.: $2,000-$3,000. (C&R/PPT)
