This Alaskan Dall Sheep is from the Bob Hall collection. Bob staged out of the famed Rainy Pass Lodge on this hunt, and took the sheep in the Alaska Range near Veleska Lake. For those who might not be familiar with Alaska, the Rainy Pass Lodge is Alaska’s oldest hunting lodge, founded in 1937. It is also a stop on the Iditarod Race each winter. In fact, the Lodge is an official check point on the “Last Great Race on Earth”. This is a nice quality shoulder mount and you can judge the horns for yourself in the pictures.
