The Mackenzie Mountains of Canada's Northwest Territories are world renowned for their Dall sheep hunting and the South Nahanni concession with extremely high success rates and solid trophy hunts is no exception. Record class trophy rams inhabit these mountains and trophies up to 46 inches have been taken. Record books aside, what South Nahanni offers is very good and fair chance at taking home a trophy ram. Opportunity rates have been 100% consistently.
The South Nahanni hunting concession is situated in the south-western part of Canada's Northwest Territories (NWT). It rises from the moose ridden lowlands off the Mackenzie River, into the grey mazes of Dall sheep and caribou mountains, to the goat and glacier dotted peaks of the Ragged Range on the Yukon border.
This one-on-one spot and stalk hunt is 9 days in the Mackenzie Mountains accommodations in a spike camp. CITES permits, licenses, tags, royalties and Hunter Preservation Fee is not included. Additional game can be offered with special arrangements with the outfitter. Transportation from Whitehorse is an additional to the concession of $1,700 USD by air charter.

Unless otherwise specified, the outfitter will be responsible for the care of the preliminary trophy preparation, salting and transportation of trophies and meat to the departure point, at no additional cost. Departure point is noted in each donation profile. The successful auction bidder will be responsible for all transportation costs and crating for the departure point to their home or taxidermist. Licenses, tags and other fees are at the expense of the successful bidder. Upon receipt of certified funds, the outfitter will acquire licenses and tags prior to the hunt. In the hunt listings, you will see the from time to time the letters “TBA” which means “to be arranged” with the guide outfitter. Successful bidders will be required to sign an insurance liability waiver form prior to taking their hunt or other wilderness trip. Al trips must be taken within the time specified. Any changes are at the sole discretion of the guide outfitter making the donation. All trips are for one person unless otherwise specified.
