'No 3 Mk 1e' British military magazine fed bolt action service rifle chambered in .303 British. Manufactured in Eddystone, Pennsylvania by the Remington Arms Company of Delaware circa 1914-1916. Imported by Springfield Sporters of Penn Run, P.A. with import marks on the underside of the barrel. Features a matte blued finish, 26" barrel, shrouded patridge front sight, flip-up latter style aperture sight graduated to 1,600 yards, volley sights, metal forend cap/barrel band with bayonet lug & piling swivel, serrated trigger, internal 6 round box magazine, manual safety on the right side of the receiver, bent bolt handle, charge loading guide cuts in the receiver, tan canvas sling smooth wood handguard, 'Fat Boy' forend and straight grip shoulder stock with brass disc & metal trapdoor buttplate. The brass stock disc is marked "6.21/1. WN/67.," the bolt is stamped with a "*" and the receiver shows a military proofs. Serial numbers match on the receiver and bolt handle. Rifle exhibits the majority of it's dull blued finish handle wear. Action is smooth, the bore shows some scattered light pitting and the wood stocks are good to very good.
