'No 3 Mk 1e' British military magazine fed bolt action service rifle chambered in .303 British. Manufactured in Eddystone, Pennsylvania by the Remington Arms Company of Delaware circa 1914-1916. Imported by C.A.I, of St. Albans V.T. with import marks on the underside of the barrel. Features a matte blued finish, 26" barrel, shrouded patridge front sight, Parker-Hale Mark VII adjustable receiver mounted sight with variable aperture diopter, metal forend cap/barrel band with bayonet lug & piling swivel, serrated trigger, internal 6 round box magazine, manual safety on the right side of the receiver, bent bolt handle, charge loading guide cuts in the receiver, tan canvas sling, smooth wood handguard, finger grooved forend and straight grip shoulder stock with metal trapdoor buttplate. Rifle exhibits approximately 40% of it's dull blued finish with the balance of the metal surfaces turned to brown patina.
