SCOPE. Cal. 338 Win. Mag. S# 0765. The 27" heavy bbl. is stamped with caliber on left rear. Early Dakota action has factory markings on sidewall and serial number on left side of receiver ring. Bolt has Mauser type extractor, checkered knob, and model 70 type safety. Bottom metal with hinged floorplate has model 70 type release in front of bow. Benchrest type pistolgrip stock of relatively plain American walnut is fitted with a black basketweave rifle pad and sling eyes. Burris Veracity 4-20x scope is in Leupold rings and bases. CONDITION: very fine, appears to be very close to "as new" with only a few minor marks in wood. Bore is bright and shiny, mechanically smooth. (22-2162/MGM). MODERN. $2,000-3,000.
