Early style Crass Ithaca boxlock action with rounded top features automatic safety and double triggers. Sides of action are machine stamped with "Ithaca Hammerless" in scrolled banner. Uncheckered round knob pistol grip buttstock of lightly fiddle figured American walnut measures 13 1/2" over new plastic buttplate with white line. Matching splinter forend has J-spring release. MEASUREMENTS: BBLS: Bore Diameter: R .737", L .736". Restriction: R .004" (IC), L 0" (CYL). Min. Wall Thickness: R .029", L .030". STOCK: DAH: 3 5/16". DAC: 1 3/4+". LOP: 13 1/2". CAST: neutral. WEIGHT: 6 lb. 11 oz. CONDITION: fair to good. Bbls. retaining most of an old reblue over scattered pitting. Action cleaned to pewter gray. Stocks have most of an old oil refinish with some light marks. Bbls. cut. Bores are fairly shiny with numerous dents in right bbl. and one or two minor ones in left. Action is fairly tight.
