This is an original oil painting by artist and SCI member, Elaine Haake. The painting depicts a mother hippopotamus and her baby shortly after surfacing from underwater. While both Hippo parents nurture and care for their young, the mother is especially protective and watchful. The painting measures 12" by 24". It is painted on canvas and mounted in a black floater frame. Elaine Haake is an accomplished artist who specializes in oil and has received numerous awards for her work.

It is the bidder’s responsibility to 1) contact the outfitter within 30 days after this event, 2) obtain proper licenses and permits and 3) arrange times and dates with the outfitter unless otherwise stated.
